Fundraising
Fundraising is an important part of the hockey season - it keeps our fees as low as possible!
The current fundraising credit amount is $250 at each team level (Mites, Squirts, Pee Wees, Bantams and Girls). Multiple skaters in one family receive discounts off of fundraising credits. Your total fundraising credits are calculated at the time of registration and are part of your overall hockey fee. The skater’s family does not receive this dollar amount; rather each item sold receives a credit towards your balance due on registration fees. Each family is responsible for recording fundraising credits and ensuring that all fundraising credits have been earned by the end of each season. Any family not meeting fundraising credits by the end of the season will be billed for the amount due.

What is Scrip Fundraising?
Gift card fundraising, also known as scrip fundraising, has been the #1 fundraiser for nonprofit organizations across the U.S. for more than 25 years.
Scrip is a voluntary program where you purchase gift cards for popular retailers and then use them for everyday purchases. From dining to vacation…grocery to home improvement…gas to electronics. You earn rebates that are applied toward your skater fees and our organization.

It is easy and more convenient than selling goods or recruiting volunteers. The best part? You can earn rebates all year round! You can invite grandparents, aunts, uncles or other family members to participate, too.
How does it work?
BDHA uses RaiseRight for scrip fundraising. Log into raiseright.com or download the app to buy gift cards or shop online. Check deals often because the gift card bonus rebates fluctuate. You can earn rebates anywhere from 1.5% to 20% depending on the retailer.
