Open Hockey

Supervisor(s) will be on-site to ensure safety and supervision of youth skaters. Cash will be collected on-site as we look into alternative payment options. We encourage skaters to sign up online for each session 24 hours in advance to allow our volunteer supervisor(s) to plan accordingly.

The Beaver Dam Family Center reserves the right to cancel Open Hockey sessions based on attendance or other extenuating unforseen circumstances.The $5 fee will be collected before skaters are permitted on the ice.

Skaters supply their own equipment:

• Neck guard is required for all youth less than 18 years of age.
• Helmets are required if pickup/scrimmage games are conducted to ensure safety of ALL skaters on the ice.
• Remainder of hockey equipment is up to the individual skater's discretion.
• Session supervisor is permitted to remove skaters from the ice if the equipment is felt to be insufficient for the level of hockey being played. 

Adult supervision is required for all youth open hockey sessions. If we do not have a volunteer 24 hours prior to the session, it will be cancelled.
